We’re on a lookout for a talented candidate to lead our business development for our services in Los Angeles. In this role, you will be pivotal in expanding our business horizons, you will not only drive revenue growth but also serve as a dedicated consultant and inventive problem-solver, guiding our clients through every phase of our partnership.

This role requires a proactive and strategic approach to identify and pursue new business opportunities, build and nurture client relationships and drive revenue growth. They will work closely with the production team to provide clients with high-quality services and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to help the company achieve its outreach & revenue goals.

Job requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Act as a primary contact for clients on allocated projects
  • Listen and understand clients' needs and challenges
  • Liaise with the client on bid status and bid submission timeline
  • Organize and prioritize workload for the bidding team
  • Gather key information on projects and share with the internal team accordingly
  • Collaborate with the team on creating strategy around key projects and clients
  • Responsible for compliance of CRM input for designated projects
  • Organize and attend all bidding meetings relating to upcoming projects
  • Present bids to senior management for approval
  • Collate and submit proposals to client for review
  • Provide information for finance and resource forecasting
  • Be an ambassador for the brand and be knowledgeable of the history, current projects, key executives and creatives, headcount and other specialized services

Preferred Skills: 

  • Preferred background in VFX bidding and production pipeline .
  • Proven track record in business development and partnership management in VFX or related.

  • Flexibility and creativity in developing solutions addressing our partner’s challenges.

  • Ability to establish and grow relationships internally with the team and externally with our partners.

  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.
  • Masters or Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field.
  • Proactive and self-motivated with a results-driven mindset.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
